The Primary Science Teaching Trust is an educational charity supporting the teaching of science in primary schools. This privacy policy explains how we use any personal information we collect about you when you use this website and your rights.

We collect and process personal information about you when you: register with us to attend a conference, webinar or any other event (whether this event will be held in a physical space or online); complete an online form (to nominate someone for a Primary Science Teacher Award or complete a ‘contact us’ form); or place an order for any products or services (e.g. to sign up for our newsletter or to request information about a specific PSTT programme); in order to carry out the requisite operation. We will hold this information for up to a year, at which point your personal data will be deleted, unless you give us permission to hold it for longer (e.g. because you have asked to receive regular updates or subscribed to a particular service). We may also collect information when you voluntarily complete surveys or provide feedback. The purpose of data collection and processing activity is described at the point of collection. No automated decision-making or profiling is undertaken.

We intend to continue improving the content and functionality of our website. Therefore, we may collect information about how you use this website using cookies (and other similar technologies) - see below. We may also monitor site usage and traffic patterns to help us to improve the design and layout of our site, to personalise your experience by tailoring the content you see, thus optimising your user experience. We may also perform statistical analysis on users’ accounts to determine, among other things, how many of them are active and how frequently they are used.
