From whole school approaches to resources that you can use in lessons right away, this session is designed to help you identify strategies that will help you support children and remove barriers to science learning. We’ll explore what high-quality adaptive teaching looks like and how you might employ these techniques in your science lessons.

- Guidance and tools to develop responsive ‘in the moment’ adaptive teaching
- Resources to support children with independence and focus in practical science
- Ideas about how to use assistive technology to reduce barriers to learning
Session 3: Thursday 29 April 2027
Whole school approaches to promoting science for all
How can cross-curricular links help to build learning experiences that will stick? In this session will explore creative ways to design our curriculum to capitalise on links between science and other subjects. We will consider strategies to support self-efficacy, regulation and problem solving.
