Join thousands of children across the UK for PSTT’s Online Science Days during British Science Week 2027. Now in its third year, these popular whole-school events make it easy to deliver a memorable day of practical science for every child.
In 2026, more than 75,000 children from nearly 3,000 classes took part nationwide. Teachers praised the practical investigations, the ease of organisation and the opportunity for children to feel part of a shared science experience with schools across the country.
Whether you’re planning a whole-school science day, celebrating British Science Week or looking for an engaging way to raise the profile of science, Online Science Days provide everything you need to get children investigating, discussing and thinking scientifically.
Our award-winning teachers will deliver four live online lessons throughout the day, one for each age phase (3-5, 5-7, 7-9 and 9-11). For just £95, every child in your school can take part.

What to expect
Each lesson introduces a practical scientific investigation linked to the British Science Week theme and designed to support the curricula of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
During each session, our expert teachers will:
- Talk directly to the children, introducing the context and explaining what to do
- Guide a hands-on investigation using simple, easy-to-source resources
- Encourage children to think scientifically, ask questions and share their findings
- Explore how science connects to the real world and the work of real-life scientists
Class teachers support their pupils throughout the investigations, helping children explore ideas and carry out practical science in the classroom. Later in the day, participating schools will have the opportunity to share their discoveries and learn from other schools taking part across the UK.
Included for each school
- Four live online lessons (one for each age phase)
- Whole-school access for all classes, including Early Years
- A guidance pack with timings, joining links and resource lists
- Opportunities for children to connect with a wider national science community
