Have some festive fun at your school this year with our seasonally themed science investigations.
Our team of Primary Science Mentors have been busy preparing festive-themed science lessons for each age phase of your school (3-5, 5-7, 7-9 and 9-11). Each lesson will introduce a curriculum-linked activity, explain what children need to do and explore the background science.
What’s included
On 23 November 2026 registered schools will receive:
- Access to recorded lessons – available via the PSTT website from 23 November to 18 December 2026, with one lesson provided for each age phase
- A guidance pack – including details of the resources needed for each activity and additional information to support delivery. All activities use resources that schools are likely to already have or can source at little or no cost
- School-wide access for £50 – registration covers every age group
Festive Science Investigations provides a seasonal science experience that’s easy to run, tailored to different age groups and an affordable way to bring high-quality science into the end of term.
