Support learners with additional learning needs in the primary science classroom

Join our new interactive one-day course, delivered online over two half-day sessions, to strengthen your knowledge and confidence in supporting learners with additional learning needs in primary science.

This course is suitable for teachers at any stage of their career, from both mainstream and more specialised settings. It is also designed for SENCOs, inclusion leaders, senior leaders and teacher mentors. During the course, you will be able to ask questions and share experiences in a supportive, confidential environment.

By the end of this course, you will have developed:

  • knowledge of resources to support planning, teaching and learning
  • ways to improve access to learning for all pupils, particularly those with additional learning needs
  • strategies for adaptive teaching and differentiation

 

Course structure

The course will focus on approaches to planning, strategies for adaptive teaching and differentiation, and essential updates for supporting learners with additional needs.
