About the Primary Science Teacher College
Providing support to teachers of primary science
The Primary Science Teacher College supports and provides opportunities to teachers of primary science.
The Teacher College is made up of previous ‘Primary Science Teacher of the Year’ award winners (PSTT College Fellows) who have the opportunity to invest their skills and experience in developing resources and projects aimed at improving primary science across the UK. The College provides funding in excess of £500,000 a year to College Fellows to help develop and disseminate excellence in primary science.
College and Support
Through the Teacher College, Fellows, Area Mentors and Regional Mentors are available to offer support and advice to primary science teachers across the UK. The Primary Science Teacher College supports all levels of teachers, from those who have never previously taught primary science to those wishing to expand the provision of primary science beyond their own schools. If you have a question, idea or aspiration to improve primary science provision, please get in contact with us and we will endeavour to help.
New College Fellows
The Primary Science Teacher College is actively looking for innovative, creative and enthusiastic primary science teachers to join the Teacher College. If you know of an outstanding primary science teacher (classroom practitioner) who would benefit from being recognised and given the opportunity to develop their practice further, please nominate them for a Primary Science Teacher Award.
