Oxford Brookes Primary Science Conference
Oxford Brookes University and the Oxfordshire Science Learning Partnership joined forces to run an exciting and informative primary science conference at Oxford Brookes University on the 17th of June 2016.
The event was sponsored by the Primary Science Teaching Trust and was attended by over 80 local teachers, who all attended for free.
The programme included practical and inspiring workshops; a keynote by Primary Science Teacher College Fellow Toby Tyler: Make Science Central - A rationale for embedding science at the centre of a school’s curriculum; and a second keynote by Nicola Beverley: The Primary Science Quality Mark -What can we learn from the 1500 primary schools who now have a Primary Science Quality Mark?
This annual event is a huge success and has demonstrated large impact on teachers across the local area.
