Join our Board of Trustees
The Primary Science Teaching Trust (PSTT) is a successful
educational charity that wants to see excellent teaching of science in every
primary classroom in the UK.
We are actively seeking volunteers from diverse backgrounds to join our board of trustees. We passionately believe that a truly inclusive and diverse board of trustees, each with their own unique life experience, viewpoint and skillset, can come together and collectively use the power of their differences to create real impact. We therefore particularly welcome applications from people of colour, people of all ages, people with disabilities, and from across the UK’s regions and nations.
As a trustee, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the PSTT’s strategy, develop knowledge and leadership skills, and expand your professional network. We will also support your training and development as a trustee, including providing a ‘buddy’ if needed, and will ensure an inclusive environment throughout your trusteeship.
Whether you’re an experienced trustee or you’d like to gain board experience – and whatever your own educational background – we’d love to hear from you.
Download the Trustee Recruitment Pack and the application form to get started. Applications must be received by 18 July.
