Director of PSTT is awarded an Honorary Fellowship
On May 25th 2016, at a ceremony presided over by the Patron HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Professor Dudley Shallcross was awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the College of Teaching (previously the College of Teachers).
The College of Teaching supports the teaching profession through networks of membership and qualifications both in the UK and worldwide and aims to be at the forefront of continuing professional development and promoting the teaching profession.
Professor Dudley Shallcross, Director of the Primary Science Teaching Trust, was made an Honorary Fellow for his ‘distinguished contributions to education’ at primary, secondary and tertiary level. Recent recipients include Dame Celia Hoyles and Sir Michael Barber.
