The sandwell cluster.
A PSTT Cluster Network in Sandwell.
Existing links between these four Sandwell Local Authority Schools, particularly between the Headteachers, form the foundation of this Cluster. Through the PSTT Programme the schools will work together to develop science, support each other and impact upon others.
Cluster Lead: Lucy Blackmore

The intended outcomes will be to improve the teaching and learning of Science in all of our schools. We would want the Science Leaders to learn from our own expertise and those of the PSTT. We will focus on how to ensure learning is engaging for children through the use of resources, questioning and the learning environment.
The Science Leaders will baseline Science teaching and learning within their school on the criteria on the availability and correct use of equipment, range and pitch of questions being used and the values being applied within the learning environment. We can then choose the three top common priorities between us and develop an action plan listing actions, timescales and intended impact. When reviewing our actions and impact with each other at our termly meetings then we will set next steps for the following meeting and interim visits. As a result of this implementation we aim to have a significant improvement to the teaching and learning of Science in each of the schools.
This section will be updated after the Cluster Programme Report and Review in Autumn 2020
