PSEA Experience Submission

To help ensure your video is suitable for use on our website and social media, please follow these guidelines:

Length

• Videos should be no longer than 2–3 minutes, though shorter videos are acceptable.

Format and orientation

• Please record in portrait orientation.
• Most modern phones are fine to use – no special equipment is needed.

Audio and background

• You may record while walking or in motion, but please keep background noise to a minimum so your voice can be heard clearly.
• Speak naturally and clearly. Please use the questions above to help guide what you share.

Sharing your video

• Once recorded, upload your video using WeTransfer or another file-sharing service such as Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox. Please note: If you choose to use WeTransfer, your file will be processed according to their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. PSTT does not control how WeTransfer stores or manages uploads, but we understand content is not used for AI training or sold to third parties.
• Make sure the link allows us to download the file and paste the shareable link into the form below.

Privacy and compliance

To ensure privacy and data protection:

• Do not include images of children.
• Avoid identifiable features or locations (e.g. school logos, signage or recognisable settings).
• Do not reference specific school names, staff, parents or pupils.
• Ensure any content shared complies with copyright requirements (e.g. no copyrighted music playing in the background).

How your video may be used

By submitting your video, you acknowledge that it may be used by the Primary Science Teaching Trust (PSTT) for the following purposes:

1. Publicity within the charity

• Displayed in ‘public places’ where visible to the general public, such as at conferences, exhibitions, or on digital displays.

2. In our publications and materials

• Used in PSTT-created materials for dissemination of teaching ideas or marketing purposes, including newsletters, PSTT websites and other published materials.

3. On our social media

• Shared in PSTT-created publicity materials on social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).

4. In external publicity

• May appear in publicity for the PSTT created or shared by others (e.g. newspapers, websites or partner organisations).

On request, PSTT can provide a copy or link to any video content in use that you are featured in.
